Globalization, deglobalization and Great Power politics

Abstract Commercial liberalism would suggest that whereas globalization was conducive to great power cooperation—or at least moderated competition—deglobalization is likely ignite greater competition amongst the Great Powers. In reality, however, picture much more complex.
